along with shallow underwater formations create a natural
breakwater, providing a solid natural infrastructural foundation

The draft master plan has been used to get all the

Tourist Zoning (declaratoria turística)
from the Costa Rica Tourism Board (I.C.T). Beach
monuments (mojones), duly placed by the Costa Rican
National Geographic Institute defining the 50 meter
Beach Zone. Land Use Plan (plan regulador), duly
approved by the Costa Rican Institute of Housing and
Urbanization (INVU), by the Costa Rican Tourism
Board (ICT), and by the local Municipality.
Long Term Contract of Beach Concession to develop
and use the Maritime Zone (Zona Marítimo Terrestre).
Business and Liquor Licenses (ready to start any
tourism related activity such as tour/travel agency,
car rental, boat rental, bars, restaurants, hotels, etc.
Tourism Contract with the Costa Rican Tourism Board (ICT), providing for exemption on import duties
on project related materials such as materials, fixtures, furniture, equipment, etc.
THIS MEANS THAT PUNTA LA JOLLA IS READY FOR IMMEDIATE DEVELOPMENT.
All of the above permits, concessions and licenses represent many years of dealings
with the Costa Rican bureaucracy.
